Where We Started

Authentic Carpentry LLC, serving Louisville, KY, was founded in 2018 with a passion for design, detailed execution, and improving client experience. Before AC, Jake had spent years as a finish carpenter and cabinet installer. These experiences have shaped every process and system that we use today. Each one is calibrated to improve the client's experience and outcome.

How We Grew

Every project we finished taught us the same lesson: coordination is where renovations go wrong. So we have invested heavily in becoming one of Louisville's finest design-first, full-service Design-Build companies.

Who We Are

Today our team designs the blueprints, renders, and construction documents in-house, working alongside a skilled interior designer, so there's no guesswork left for you to carry. One team, one point of contact, from the first walk-through to the last punch-list item - even if you're on vacation in the Bahamas, checking your job portal from your phone.

We can't promise a project with zero surprises. We can promise you'll understand every decision before it's made, not after.

To us, success is measured by our clients' clarity and confidence as they head into the project, and the joy they experience from the outcome at the end. Our projects typically start at around $120,000, with many clients investing $350,000 or more to realize their vision fully. If that's the kind of project you are planning, we'd love to talk. Contact us today to schedule your consultation and learn how we can help bring your vision to life.
