FOUNDER AND CEO
Jake Fabish
After High School, Jake took classes in Architecture, Graphic Design and Illustration. In 2005 he moved to Kentucky where he began working with a remodeling company as a general laborer for two years. In 2007 he began apprenticeship with a commercial flooring company installing floors of all kinds across Kentucky’s universities, hospitals, and schools. After finishing a four-year commercial flooring apprenticeship he transitioned back into working in residential spaces – working with both exterior and interior finishes, installing doors, windows, tile, carpet, hardwood, and laminate. He started to specialize in cabinetry in 2013. In 2018 he started Authentic Carpentry with his brother Ben.
Jake is married to Hannah and they have 6 children.
PARTNER
Ben Fabish
Ben joined Authentic Carpentry in 2018 as a partner in the business. Before starting with Authentic, he worked in finish carpentry as a flooring installer, sales manager, IT technician and office manager. He now focuses on managing Authentic Carpentry’s remodeling and general contracting projects. Ben has always enjoyed art and construction. He loves getting to create beautiful and functional design.
Outside of work he and his wife Rachel enjoy spending time with their four children. We love getting out into nature and working on projects together.
